As an original equipment supplier to these programs, PBR has the responsibility for developing Performance brakes that are up to the task of stopping these high-powered machines.

A true American icon, the Corvette is the oldest of our Performance programs with production of PBR Performance brakes commencing in 1983. This vehicle is renowned for having best-in-class stopping distance.

Ford Mustang Cobra

  

 

In direct competition to the Corvette is the Ford Mustang Cobra, another great American icon.

This is the flagship of the Mustang range and is seen by many as the ultimate Ford Performance vehicle.

  
 

 

Another of the great American Performance favourites, the Pontiac Firebird was probably most renowned under the guise of Trans AM.

PBR provided the stopping power for the Firebird for many years before the model was finally put to rest in 2002.

Chevrolet Camaro

  

 

Another great American "muscle" car was the Chevrolet Camaro. To many American's this was the affordable sports car.

Unfortunately, the Camaro was also put to rest in 2002.

  
 

 

PBR has worked closely with HSV (Holden Special Vehicles) in Australia for many years developing performance brake systems.

Whilst PBR Performance brakes have appeared on a range of HSV models, probably the most recognised of these is the HSV Clubsport.

Ford Performance Vehicles GT

 

 

With the closure of Tickford in Australia and the subsequent opening of FPV (Ford Performance Vehicles), PBR has continued to develop performance brake systems for the "muscle" car end of the Ford range.

FPV have successully relaunched the GT brand in this market, complete with PBR Performance brakes.
