Toyota Sportivo Coupe

PBR's latest concept car program is the Toyota Sportivo Coupe which was launched at the 2004 Melbourne International Motor Show.

   

The Sportivo is fitted with massive 380mm diameter ventilated and cross drilled rotors with 6-piston aluminium monoblock calipers on the front and 355mm diameter ventilated and cross drilled rotors with 4-piston aluminium monoblock calipers for the rear.

 
     
         
   

Toyota X-Runner

In 2003 Toyota Australia released their first concept vehicle at the Melbourne International Motor Show. The X-Runner was developed as a utility vehicle because of its icon status with the Australian motoring public.

The PBR Performance brake system fitted to the X-Runner consists of twin-piston aluminium front calipers mounted on 355 x 32mm 2-piece vented and grooved disc rotors and twin-piston aluminium rear calipers mounted on 343 x 28mm vented and grooved disc rotors.

 
     
         
 

Redback Spyder

The 2002 Melbourne International Motor Show saw the release of the Australian designed Redback Spyder.

Nick Tomkinson developed this high performance vehicle based on design links with replicas of the Lamborghini Countach and the Porsche 911.

   
 
 

The Redback Spyder features PBR Performance brakes with a twin-piston aluminium front caliper sitting astride 325 x 32mm vented and slotted disc rotors and a single aluminium rear caliper mounted over 303 x 18mm slotted rotors.

The Spyder was developed with the assistance of 37 Australian companies and has become something of a showcase for Australian technology.
